Night River Kings

Night River Kings is a band based out of East Central Illinois. Their tight blend of indie-alternative rock and powerful, positive messages has started to create a following in their region, and after first listen, one would immediately understand why. Every song has the potential to stay in your head for days and days on end, while every show leaves you, the listener, nearly screaming for more. The “NRK” setlist is very eclectic in nature. You can hear the variety in their sound in bassist Ben Gaul’s addictive licks in the driving favorite, “Rumors of Fire” to drummer Rudy Medsker’s powerful beat in the open and free “To Tame a Lion” to singer and guitarist Curt Goodwine passionate play in the touching “Last Lullaby”. Yes, there is something for everyone to find within the Night River King’s incredible catalog.
The band is very engaging, both on and off of the stage. No matter the age, anyone who leaves the venue after an NRK show feels a connection with not only the music, but with the individual band members as well. The boys are fresh off of a short hiatus, and have come armed with a renewed energy and a new and exciting batch of songs.
