Nightshade

Nightshade is a live dubstep, drum'n'bass & trip-hop act from Dunedin, New Zealand, performing 100% original tunes.

Nightshade Live features the vocal talents of Sarah Callander & MC Beau, along with Kalo Pilato (guitars/ keys), Woosh (bass & synths)
Their dynamic sound ranges from heavy & energetic, to deep & soulful.

Nightshade have collaborated with well regarded artists such as Logistics (Hospital Records, UK), TRUTH (Deep Medi), Optimus Gryme, and Tokyo Prose, & as such have a diverse array of material to draw from for their show.

Nightshade have a good following throughout New Zealand, due in part to their highly successful nationwide tour in March 2011, where they played in centres from Auckland to Invercargill, including venues such as Zen, Sandwiches, Flow Bar, Subculture, Urban Factory, & BarLuca, as well as performing a Live-To-Air on B-Nets Radio One.

On the release front Nightshade made their debut outing on Optimus Gryme Recordings in February 2011, & currently their explosive remix of Knives At Noon track 'Violence & Violins' is about to be released on Liberation Records.

Their track 'This Time' has also received wide-spread support, including airplay from Marcus Intalex (Soul:R Recordings UK) on his legendary Soul:ution Radio for Red Bull Music Academy.

Currently Nightshade are working on their debut album, to be released early 2012, & as such have already begun promo'ing many of their tracks to radio stations, resulting in airplay throughout the country.
