Nik Beat and The Tyranny of Love are a Canadian alternative punk-pop act
consisting of four members all from Toronto. The band is led by
broadcaster/poet/singer-songwriter Nik Beat. Nik has been a presence in the
rock and poetry scene both for the past fifteen years. The band has been
performing at The Opera House, Healey's and many other venues throughout the
Greater Toronto Area for the past year.
