EENJEE is a producer / arranger with a unique flare of her own. Singing since she was a small child in church choirs, she developed her belting chops at an early age. Born into a musical family it was second nature for her to start to create her own songs, and her own sound. Her uncle Muzz Skillings (former bass player of Living Colour) being her mentor always encouraged her to not be limited in her artistic expression and to not be afraid to take risk. She received a scholarship from Arizona Western College. She learned and loved classical music. She formed a group called Sista Gurl in the last 1990’s and started writings songs for them. We were writing all these songs with no arrangements so, I had to start learning about production and making tracks, so I jumped in head first, says the talented artist. After the breakup of Sista Gurl, Nikeysha worked in studios learning everything she could about production, all the while developing her own sound at home in her home studio. She has a reputation for being very head strong, and passionate of her pursuit of becoming a notable female producer/singer songwriter.
