Well known for her outstanding interpretations of traditional Yiddish songs, her beautiful voice as for her ability to revive and compose new Yiddish music, Niki Jacobs proves that Yiddish music is still very much alive.

With Mameloshn Niki Jacobs & Band again found a new way for Yiddish to be introduced to the world. Backed by the powerhouse acoustic band shes been working with for years she will sing all her favourite pop-hits in Yiddish. Together with many a great story that comes with the song this will be a memorable concert of pure, beautiful, swinging, rocking and poetic concert covered in Mameloshn 

Nikitov has been performing al over the world ever since they started out in 1999. Their latest album 'Anno 1999' released in 2011 sounds like a confirmation of their musical development over the past years. Well received in Holland with a 4**** ranking in the major newspaper's music reviews. 

Their new album 'Mameloshn' will be released in January 2015. This release will be followed by an international tour. Over the past years Niki Jacobs' expertise on writing, translating and performing in Yiddish has developed to a new level. Together with her great band, she will bring her music to many different places, giving and introducing a new fresh way to look at old songs

Niki Jacobs has been working with these great musicians for about 5 years. On trumpet, Ruud Breuls, Accordion, Peter van Os, Cello, Emile Visser, Ro Krauss on Viola and on Double bass, Edwin Wieringa.
