No, not Nicole Kidman: Nicole Kidd! Reminiscent of the beautiful sound of the late Ella Fitzgerald, this lady’s voice will bring tears to your eyes, it’s just that good. Voted Miami New Times 2018 “Best Jazz Act”, Kidd decided to hop on a plane and take on a residency (Monday–Saturday) at the Mandarin Oriental’s Bamboo Bar, which has been the place for jazz in Bangkok for decades. Bangkok is so lucky to have Ms Kidd on its soil and if I were you, I wouldn’t let the moment pass you by as this lady is hot stuff and who knows where she’ll be next!

Miami Beach native Nikki Kidd has been crooning since she was 4 years old. She grew up singing gospel in church, classical in school, and reggae, rock, and R&B at home. Kidd studied studio music and jazz voice at the University of Miami's esteemed Frost School of Music, and her commanding stage presence has led her to share the stage with big-name acts such as Gloria Estefan, Michael Bublé, KC and the Sunshine Band, and even the Florida Grand Opera in its production of Aida. Though she still performs locally with her Nikki Kidd Band, she has a residency at the Mandarin Oriental's Bamboo Bar in Bangkok, Thailand. Her shows are worth that trip around the globe, but she hasn't forgotten her hometown. - Miami New Times

Bio
Nikki is an International Jazz Musician with a palatable passion for music. Her musical style is the embodiment of classic and current jazz and her voice has the ability to transport you to the days of speak easies.
Nikki Kidd started singing at the age of four, born and raised in the culturally diverse Miami Beach, Florida. Being exposed to such an array of cultures and melting pot of genres, has given Nikki her unique sound. Her musical palate ranges from Jazz, Electronic Music, Reggae, Pop, Rock, Soul and R&B and that diversity is shown and very evident in Nikki's music. Nikki earned her Bachelors at the University of Miami in Studio Music and Jazz Voice as well as a Minor in Music Business. At UM Nikki studied with world renown jazz artists such as Kevin Mahogony, Kurt Elling, and John Secada. It was at the University of Miami where Nikki developed and ear for jazz and her own unique stage presence. The way she commands the stage makes her performances a show NOT to miss!
Nikki has worked with acclaimed artists such as Gloria Estefan, Michael Bublé and KC and the Sunshine Band. She has also performed with the Florida Grand Opera in their production of the Opera "Aida" at the Arscht Center and recorded with Reggae artist "Bruck Up". Nikki continues to make a name for herself not only in her hometown but also abroad where she has a residency at the Mandarin Oriental's Bamboo Bar in Bangkok, Thailand.
Nikki continues to perform around Florida with her band the "Nikki Kidd Band" and is currently working on recording her first jazz album. Be sure to catch Nikki and her band live, you will be thoroughly entertained!
