Nikkis Trick

Our music is true to ourselves. We love what we play and play only what comes natural. We all come from parents who listened to classical rock&roll. So from a young age, the seed of that music was planted into our souls. Growing and discovering other genres of music and appreciating a wide variety of artists and bands, our minds have been open to lots of sounds. Although our music is heavily influenced by rock&roll, elements of other genres do reflect into our sound. In grade 7 Mark and Adrian decided to start a band, heavily influenced by the grunge scene at the time. They did not have any instruments, but the band was formed. Finding enough cash to grab an acoustic guitar at a pawn shop, their writing began. They kept writing together for many years, with different musicians, never truly finding a solid union. Falling on hard times in their lives, music was always there to keep them going. Matthew was eager to play after his band broke up, and it seemed almost natural to join with his brother and friend. Steve a close friend who left his band because they were not taking the music serious, was quickly asked to jam and an instant connection was made between all four members. What sets them apart from alot of other bands is their honesty and passion to be true to the music they love and not comprimse to fit in with the new trends, or temporary movements of revival comebacks. They play what they want, how they want and love it.
