"Bullies Were Incredibly Cruel to This 11-Year-Old Girl. How She Got Back at Them was Brilliant"

Bullying has become a worldwide epidemic. They appear everywhere, from playgrounds to the hallway, public restaurants and even online. It is estimated that 160,000 children miss school every day due to fear of attack or intimidation by other students.
Eleven-year-old Nini Surles of Dallas, Texas knows what it’s like to be bullied. Bullies have shown her absolutely no mercy. She’s been beaten up, called ugly, and told she couldn’t play with other kids because of her skin color. Needless to say, this took a big toll on Nini.
“She was almost to the point where she didn’t want to live anymore,” her mom, Elicia Surles stated. “I ended up taking her out of school for a year in order to rebuild her confidence and self esteem. We also hired her a private tutor to assist us also in rebuilding her academically.”
Now she is getting the last laugh. She’s always had a love for music and recently recorded a song that’s become a national anthem of sorts against bullies everywhere.
“My song ‘Stronger’ shows that anyone can overcome whatever it is you’re going through,” Nini stated in a recent YouTube video. “Remember, always stay strong and tell an adult.”
The catchy song has even caught the attention of area politicians in her hometown. She has also filmed a pretty cool music video for the song.
“I’m a fighter in a battleground. Standing strong, never back down. Can’t Stop. Won’t Stop. Because I’m stronger,” Nini sings in the song.
The talented 11-year-old is now traveling from school to school, speaking out against bullying. Take that, bullies! We have just three words for you, Nini: “YOU GO, GIRL!”
Below is the music video in its entirety. We gotta admit, the song is pretty catchy. - Ladies Life
