Finally Ninth Pillar entered the stage,complete with TV sets and video loops to create a strange sense of disconnection and attention to detail with staging that Sandpit has been lacking!
A three piece that passed the ultimate test (when you're convinced there has to be more people responsible for making all that noise), their sparse sound was intriguing and engaging, sitting happily under a rock umbrella but without the traditional structures to support.

Ninth Pillar are an originals rock band that formed in November 2002. The line up consists of Guitar, Bass , Theremin , Drums and Vocals. Their music has a broad range of influences as each member has different tastes in music. Ninth Pillar bases their sound upon catchy lyrics,straight forward guitar riffs and ballsy bass undertones. After listening to a few songs, you will find yourself humming their melodies for days later.
