What sets me apart is that i'm a 21 year old female who writes her own lyrics and has a diverse style in recording.Since the age of 14, this D.C. native was certainly no stranger to the stage, from dancing to
ripping up the runways, winning Beauty Pageants and different talent competitions she moved on to something more challenging, Writing lyrics. It started from writing poems to putting poems to beats. After realizing she was making music, it became her second priority to school, and then it led to a passion influenced by a few female mc’s such as the Notoriious K.I.M. Missy Elliot & Foxy Brown. Every and any opportunity she got, she went up against countless rap Battles and at times, the only female to compete in the vicious lyrical attacks and remain Standing. From that, her skills got stronger and her deliverance got harder. Jannique Meticulously developed her own lil’ nitch and original rap style of he own, She calls it “New life to the game”, and that, she is. Through out her high school years Jannique Spent a great deal of her time in make shift Studios writing, recording, and learning the music business only to prepare herself for What’s to come. After she graduated high school in 2004, she moved to the dirty south, Florida, where she is attending college, and working on a few promos. Mix tape projects as a warm up for her street album/demo “Beauty & tha Beats vol.1” coming late August 2006. She’s now an Individual artist on a new up and coming label, “Hands Down Ent.” Based out of fort. Lauderdale, where she holds the weight as the 1st lady of the team. This little chic has a big Future ahead of her. She’s defiantly an unusual suspect with her Pretty face but her mean lyrics, gives her away. Be very careful cause, when she comes, she comes hard!!!!
