This "Ms. Most Lyrical Acclaimed" has taken the South Florida by storm & no doubt is coming harder than ever on her musical journey to the limit. Dancer, Singer, Writer, Composer, & Artistic genius, has taken a mark and goal on the music industry's supremacy at the young age of 21. This vibrant, talented,& kind heartened music artist has been flying faster through word of mouth. On March 20th, 1989 Anthonisha "NISHAY" Fisher was born In Miami, FL. Raised in Nassau, Bahamas, this young star learned the art and crafts of music by singing and dancing in front of friends and family as she is also apart of a musical inclined family of 6 children. Growing up with a father that was and is currently still a musician for a living, she knew nothing else but the world of music. Little did she know, this would continue in her adult life. For her, music was a way of bringing many together. She grew a passion for the artistry of music. At the age of 5, she began to sing giving friends memory of her voice, & at the age of 7 began composing lyrics; not something a normal child would do, but for NiShay it was a passion. Having graduated college with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology , she finds herself planning and applying to the world she knows best as her writing. In any comfortable setting, her vibrant character is known for laughs, articulating dances, and her sweet angelic voice has been said to inspire the young and uninspired. Coming from a Caribbean Heritage and Musical family, she began singing at a tender age of 5 and at the age of 7 composed her first song for her father who is also a musician and leader of a local band in the Bahamas. All the while writing poems, she slowly started realizing her path. Nishay incorporates poetry into her melodic connection to catchy rhythm's. Her favorite incorporation would be the oldies styles with the new. Although it's "past style" music, she like's to call it "refurbished art". This young star learned the art and crafts of music by singing and dancing in front of friends and family. For her, music was a way of bringing family together.
Her vibrant character is known for laughs, articulating moves, and her sweet angelic voice is not easy to forget. My artistry has a unique 90's edge and my entrepreneurship has been said to be reminded of personalities of great artist of other decades. My artistry isn't more or less the unique reminder, but much more personality and presence, for I don't consider myself a upcoming artist, but more or less consider myself an upcoming entertainer. With the best sounds of today's artist, who can blame fans from being suspicious of an underground artists sound. But after hearing Nishay's sound, and seeing this "head turner" who can blame social media from giving "the buzz".
"Music, in every form of the word. The best kind of feeling!" says Nishay. Talented, beautiful, mysterious, & driven, makes up what we may see of this sensational songwriter and music artist. This talented young lady was brought to the attention by many scenes of the entertainment world including the eyes of 50+ Grammy Nomination Mirror Entertainment, whom is best known for their artist management and creative expert development. Nishay's creativity on her new anticipated album has the sounds of "the new mix" flavors of all genre's despite the title "pop". She is highly anticipated to set a path and "bring the noise" so to speak as one of the most talented writers and music professionals awaiting the decade.
In the early years, Nishay followed her father as he sang and performed as a lead guitarist in a Bahamian Band known as the VIPs. Nishays younger years, she developed the skills of stage presence and art at a local centers and colleges during the summer seasons. There she enjoyed modeling, acting, and dancing. At the age of five, she began to grace others with her angelic voice. With occasional nights of singing at performances with her father in the late hours, Nishay knew music was where she would find familiarity as something we call "home"! In her home life, Nishays angelic voice could be carried through the walls as she danced and performed as music played from the television on well known stations as MTV, VH1, and BET. At the age of 7, her writing abilities emerged. By listening to many older pop and r&b artist such as Janet Jackson, Sade, Aaliyah, Mary J. Blige, Christina Aguilera, Tony Braxton, Michael Jackson, and even Brittany in a Pop sensation along with the Spice Girls of the late 90s era. With such diversity she knew it would set a path for performing. During the course of her teen years, she traveled with choirs, and also sang in underground female groups. Although many hardships occurred, Nishay became a solo act becoming who she has emerged to be. In 2010, Nishay released a mix-tape called the New Breed of Fierce, which created a spiral of twitter followers. The "mixtape" was concentrated over beats of hip hop and rnb records and showed major versatility including the interludes (written and recorded poems) that caught most of the attention to the project. With an amazing total of 1.4 million views/plays/downloads, it blew the minds of many industry executives. One of the things that has processed in reach is her stability with her culture and character. Nishay has written a few writing projects and is currently working on her own highly anticipated debut project which is entitled, "Gravity Point" Some new details to be released here as well as Nishay's social networks.
