Bio
Nishevitha Ramesh has been learning Carnatic Vocal music for the past 12 years. Nishevitha is currently getting trained under the tutelage of her Guru, Dr. Vijayalakshmi Subramaniam from Chennai,India.
Nishevitha has performed in the Bay Area TV-Swaralahari, Tiruvaiyaru Thyagaraja Aradhana Festival, Cleveland Sustaining Sampradaya Thyagaraja Festival. She has performed and continues to give concerts in all the Bay Area Organizations.
She has won several prizes in music competitions in Cleveland Thyagaraja Festival, Papanasam Sivan Festival, Andhra Pradesh's Swara Super Singer in Krithi, Alapana, Swaram categories. She is the Youth Representative for South India Fine Arts, San Francisco Bay Area.
She has been part of the Fremont Church choir and sang as an Alto-Soprano. She was in the Intermediate String Ensemble/ violin Orchestra at California Youth Symphony(CYS). She plays cello, piano, guitar and composes music. She covers western music artists and posts these songs on YouTube.
Nishevitha is a 10th grader in Mission San Jose High,Fremont.
