Began classical ballet at the age of four, performed in Tani Momoko Ballet, "Swan Lake" and "Cinderella" as one of the youngest performers in concert.

She entered figure skating at age 7, and studied under Fukuhara Miwa, and as a grade-school student, competed twice in the national convention as a representative for Tokyo. Even with her success in figure skating, and a promising career as a skater, what she really wanted to do was express herself through singing and dancing. She shifted gears from figure skating and entered the entertainment industry.

During her second year in junior high school, she took second place in a Vocalist Contest. After experiencing setbacks, and frustration, she began focusing on street dancing as she entered high school. During her second year in high school, she formed a dance team, "Squall Noize". After entering and winning many dance contests, her team was becoming well known as one of the best JAZZ HIP HOP teams.

Inside the dance studio, still a teenager, she led her own class as the youngest class instructor. From her appearance on Nippon Television’s “SUPER CHAMPLE” she attracted national attention as a solo dancer, and soon became the star dancer of the show. Her skilled talents of singing and dancing bloomed into stardom, and in January 2009 she made her artist debut with "Open your eyes"! This has led her to become one of the most closely watched singer-dancer artists of the year.
