"Nitro y Fanta 'El Duo Exagerao'"

Nitro y Fanta, los “El Duo Exagerao” the newest reggaeton group to hit the scenes are also the youngest emcees to be signed to GM Music operated by DJ Al Money.

The young Dominicans credit much of their inspiration to their lyrics that they write themselves, on their surroundings and their way of life growing up in the heart of the Bronx. Their first single, “Le gusta el mambo” was released on the Hot 97 Reggaeton Edition mix tape in 2004. Since then, Nitro y Fanta have been showcased on various compilation albums featured on reggaetonny.com

Now on a 2006 nationwide reggaeton tour, sponsored by Puertoricans.com, Rankeoent.com, Royalrumba.com, and Reggaetonny.com Nitro y Fanta have performed at several venues throughout the US. Stops have included, but not been limited to New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, LA, San Francisco, Nashville, and Atlanta. This coming spring Nitro y Fanta is scheduled to perform in several other states and travel worldwide to Canada, Japan and Europe.

In the coming year, Nitro y Fanta will collaborate with several international musical talents, including two of the most highly noted rappers of France, 113 and Rohff. Their lyrical blend with R & B singer, Priss from Belgium will combine reggaeton with an R&B flare. In addition, they will team up on a track with PopShuvit from Japan, named the top rock band of 2005 by Hitz.fm.

Their first album set to drop in the summer/fall of 2006 will also include a DVD that gives viewers an opportunity to watch exclusive interviews, performances and follow them behind the scenes as they travel cross country throughout the US.

With thousands in attendance, the first Summer Sport Compact Slam was held in 1996. This July 1-2, Old Bridge Township Raceway Park marks a decade of ‘Slams with a spectacular show featuring live performances from chart-topping Reggaeton artists, 200 mph import vs. domestic match races, a huge lowrider and import car show, La Kalle’s $2,500 Freaky Tona Bikini Contest, and of course – some of the best import drag racing in the country.

The 10th annual Summer Sport Compact Slam presented by Scion will once again celebrate the nation’s birthday with all out lifestyle and drag racing blitz. The two-day event will kick off with Saturday activities that will include the popular Top 100 Import and Lowrider Car Show, bracket drag racing by the areas quickest street and strip imports, and qualifying for the pro drag racing classes (featuring Team Puerto Rico vs. Team USA). On Sunday, the action gets white hot with over 1,500 of the east coast’s hottest imports, lowriders, trucks, bikes, and anything else with wheels and an attitude, in attendance for the annual Summer Sport Compact Slam Car Show. As an official stop of the 2006 Lowrider Magazine Tour, you can bet there will also be some wild and slammed vintage metal in the house. While the chrome and paint get polished, spectators will have a chance to pick a prime location to witness the quickest and fastest Import vs. Domestic racing ever!

The crowd pleasing, 4-door 7-second RaceRedi Lexus GS300 of Justin Humphreys will square off against Dave Hance’s 7-second 2005 Ford Mustang. If this pair isn’t enough to get the high-tech vs. Detroit iron adrenaline flowing, the ‘Slam X’s main match race will feature the turbocharged 6-second, 215+ mph Titan Motorsports 2006 Pro RWD Scion tC of Brad Personett going heads-up against the supercharged 6-second, 215+ mph 1968 Pro Mod Camaro of Vinny Budano. The stakes won’t be any less when the Pro classes roll up for Summer Sport Compact Slam X drag racing. Some of the quickest and fastest 4-cylinders, rotaries, and FWDs from the east coast are expected to be in attendance; to make this year’s drag racing the fastest ever. And a lot of those credentials will be sported by cars from Team Puerto Rico, who is making the special trip in annual shootout with the quickest imports that Team USA can produce.

All the on track and car show action will be surrounded by the beat-filled airwaves coming off the Scion Summer Sport Compact Slam stage. The stage will be the place to be, not only for the Freaky Tona Bikini Contest hosted by La Kalle 105.9 FM very own DJ Kazzanova and Crowd Motivator L Boogs, but for the live DJ tunes and free giveaways throughout the day. The highlight of the Scion stage though will be live performances from star Reggaeton recording artists Plan B, Noztra, Pirata, and Nitro & Fanta.

Ariel Franjul and Henry Tejada, together have formed the dynamic duo known today as Nitro y Fanta both born and raised in the Dominican Republic, Nitro y Fanta currently reside in New York. As two of the youngest emcees in the game, Nitro y Fanta signed with GM Music operated by one of the leading DJs in New York City, DJ Al Money. Nitro y Fanta the prodigies of GM Music, have gotten noted recognition for their featured tracks, “Dale Al Dembow,” “Abusa,” “Le Gusta el Mambo” and the most recent hit “No Seas Mala” which features Oriel, the R&B sensation of GM Music.
The growing success of Nitro y Fanta has granted the duo the chance to tour Eastern Europe alongside Papi Sanchez to emphasize the worldwide growing popularity of the reggaeton flare. In addition in the summer of 2006, Nitro y Fanta highlighted a Canadian reggaeton tour as one of the first of it’s kind to ever reach the nation. Performances in NY include opening for Hector “El Father” at the Puerto Rican Parade after party at Club Avalon and performing at the Ruff Ryder Auto Show at Yankee Stadium. Now in the studio recording their first album, Nitro y Fanta’s album will include surprise guest appearances by some of the today’s most noted and accomplished artists. One of their many musical collaborations, a recording with Pop Shuvit, named the #1 rock group in Asia has brought their song “Rockera” to hit #1 on the charts in Malaysia, according to Hitz.fm
