Niuver writes and composes franco-cuban songs with pop/folk influences.


Born in Matanzas, Cuba and now living in France, the singer Niuver was nurtured by the rich musical traditions of her homeland and inspired by the artistic energy of her adopted country. Niuver's music blends elements of pop, jazz, brazilian bossa nova, french chanson and Cuban trova. With her silky voice and easygoing presence, she has become a popular singer in the new french music scenes. After a first album Quiereme mucho (2009), produced by Raul Paz, she’s now recording her second album with songs in both French and Spanish. She's working on this opus with Julien Chirol and Pierre-Luc Jamain, who worked with Sergent Garcia, Micky Green, Feist and Oxmo Puccino. Release date winter 2011-12.
