Bio
Toronto-born Nix has a voice that reflects old and new sounds of pop and R&B, having been heavily influenced by 90s-pop divas and old-school crooners. With a rich musical upbringing that included singing in numerous secular, sacred and jazz choral ensembles, and studying the classical violin, music consumed her. As a young teen, Nix became a published poet after winning a poetry competition, thus inspiring her to fuse her innate writing and vocal talents. Her latest single, Playing With Fire won a bronze Global Music Award for best Pop Song.
