"Nix Sound Addicts" are a dynamic Pop/Rock band that plays original and cover
music. Together they are proficient in many styles and are all professional and
accomplished musicians. Below is each of their bios. Please consider Sound

Lead Singer & Piano: Nick Lopez is a Pop singer/songwriter from the San
Francisco Bay Area. Nick released his first solo album at age 13, under his stage name
Nix, and has 3 full length music videos out. He is branching out to working with a full-
band setup, hence Sound Addicts.

Bass & Back up Vocals: Shawn Brown Originally from Sonoma County has performed and recorded with many bands and solo artists throughout the bay area. A few of his past projects “Azibo Tribe” & “Soulvine” while playing many venues and festivals opened shows for The Black Eyed Peas, Jimmy Cliff, Burning Spear, Alpha Blondy, Michelle N’deggeocello, Vinyl, Andrew Tosh, Eek A Mouse , Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown & More.

Guitars: Brian Jones was born in San Francisco, He started playing guitar at a very young age but began to take it more serious at age 12. HE attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, where his learning and aptitude on the guitar increased exponentially. Currently he is teaching lessons across the bay area, playing shows with several bands, and doing session work.

Drums: Ian Favell originally from Sonoma County, has been drumming in rock bands for many years. He has a "less is more" approach to drumming and believes a steady time is important above all else. Ian has been performing for over 14 years and has opened for many international performers at theaters and festivals all over California & Hawaii.
