NNIGMA AMUN-RA

Nnigma Amun-RA is a dynamic, prolific Artist, Rapper, and MC which hails from Brooklyn, NYC and he is of an Ancient Egyptian descent.

Nnigma, Started rhyming in the year of 1989 utilizing a distinctive powerful delivery and a clever hard-hitting flow!

As time evolved, he proceeded by constantly writing using various styles and methods of rhyming, lyrically building his skills for professional use.

By 1993, he found himself completing two 17 track albums ready to be introduced to the world revealing: “THE BIRTH OF NNIGMA”.

Performing at numerous underground clubs around the tri-state area including New Jersey, Philadelphia and New York City that year following he moved to Philadelphia from New York. After analyzing their Hip Hop Scene, he started performing, doing open mic shows at local clubs like: Club Dances, Club Fever, Gotham, The Redzone, Club Winners and also the famous “Mann Music Center”!

As his exposure grew around Philadelphia, he was interviewed on three separate occasions by a Hip Hop Television Show called “Urban X-pressions”, which also led him to be interviewed by two of Philadelphia’s Largest Hip Hop and R & B Radio Stations, Power 99 FM(98.9) and Philly 100.3, “THE BEAT”.

In 1995, he starred on a compilation album with other artists from various independent labels “Three in Tha Chamber” which featured two singles off his first album called “Breakin Rules” and “Meditate Deeply” (tha remix), which both songs debuted on POWER 99 FM. Two other songs were also released off of NNigma’s first album titled; “Sleepwalkers” plus “Rufflife” which was aired by POWER 99 FM on their
“MAKE IT OR BREAK IT SHOW”.
BOTH SONGS MADE IT WITH A 79% PERCENTILE SUCCESS RATE!

NNIGMA then took to the road, touring other states, like New Jersey, Delaware, Washington, D.C., Virginia, Los Angeles, Chicago, Baltimore, Atlanta, and New York City Headlining shows, performing in front of larger audiences.

NNIGMA also performed with various well-known stars, such as:

DMX, SONS OF MAN, ROYAL FAM OF THE WU TANG CLAN, MOBB DEEP, RAM SQUAD, MAJOR FIGGAS, DOUG E. FRESH, MIC GERONIMO, NO QUESTION, JAGGED EDGE, MEMPHIS BLEEK, BEANIE SIEGAL, AND MANY OTHERS!!!

In the middle of 1998, with new producers, he headed back into the studio to work on his new creation entitled:

“THE FINAL CONFLICT,
THE WAR BEGINS”,
The first three singles released were” ARMAGGEDDON”, “FORCES OF NATURE” and “ENTER THE GAME”.

Before completion of the album an E.P. was released called:
“NNIGMA 2000: under a production company named “FLY PRODUCTIONS”. This provided Nnigma with great management and outstanding promotion, selling 500,000 copies on the streets in the first two weeks alone!

2000 came along with Nnigma finally placing the finishing touches on his album, recording the last three songs titled:
“LYRICAL WAR”, “I DEDICATE”, and “YOU AIN’T SAFE”. Returning to Philadelphia that same year, he was asked to perform at a “UNITY DAY CELEBRATION” in Germantown PA.

This celebration was hosted by RADIO STATION, 100.3, THE BEAT. NNIGMA, DUTCH & SPADE OF MAJOR FIGGAS AND ALSO “EVE” performed. The reception was so overwhelming to his performance with major celebrities that the station invited him back to perform the following year in 2001.
He responded to the invitation as being his pleasure to return.

***TIME WARP FORWARD…UPDATE: TO THIS YEAR 2007 HE RETURNED TO RECORDING THIS TIME AT THE FAMOUS, “MILKBOY RECORDING STUDIOS” IN ARDMORE, PA.
NOW CURRENTLY WORKING ON RECORDING AND PRODUCING THE MOST POWERFUL ALBUM TO DATE..A MASTERPIECE “XVIII..THE NEW KINGDOM”.
EVERYONE IN THE STUDIO HAS ARRIVED AND MOST PRESENT HAVE ENTERED TO HEAR HIM WITH IMMENSE PRAISE AND ADULATION

In Conclusion, NNIGMA has come to revolutionize the RAP GAME, because according to him, it has been stolen for a long time. HIS LYRICS AND PERSONALITY ARE A MYSTERY, A RIDDLE, A PUZZLE; SO WHAT BETTER NAME TO CLAIM THAN NNIGMA?

THERE ARE NO BOUNDARIES HE CANNOT CROSS, NO BEATS HE CAN’T FLOW WITH HIS INNOVATIVE STYLE PLUS POWERFUL LYRICS!
