Bio

Mobile, Al. has birthed a gem with No Suh Foster. A
lyrical talent often unheard in the southern region, No Suh brings real
life experiences to listeners with a spoken word type flow, and
aggressive, trippy production. His first release was 2010's "Basically
Ima Dreamer". Even with a creative video for his single "Lies an
Deception", the tape went largely unnoticed due to inexperience. Later
that year, he would go on to meet two collectives that would change the
path of his career. In the summer of 2010, No Suh was introduced to a
collective from his home town of Mobile named District Ph(ive) and would
be featured on their debut project No HGH. Later that summer he met Dee
Skillz, and Eugenius, the artists he would help form LDLR (Loner,
Dreamer, Lover, Rebel) with. That summer he also met an up and coming
blogger and video director by the name of J Millz, whose site,
Fresh-Cool-Dope had just got off the ground and was garnering a buzz
among college students in Huntsville. Millz and No Suh shot a video for
"Days Like This", a cover of Erykah Badus On and On from the
Basically Ima Dreamer tape, and since then, he has become a regular
feature on the site. He finished off 2010 by being featured on both Dee
Skillz "The Beautiful Noize" and Eugenius' "The Brainstorm" Projects. In
February of 2011, No Suh  dropped his second solo project "Above The
Influence", a brutally honest social commentary touching on everything
from political corruption, to the exploitation of Blacks in America. The
album went on to get solid reviews from various blogs, and was an
overall success. He then entered in the inaugural "Who Got Bars"
competition in Huntsville, AL.  gaining a 2nd place finish and a lot
more promotion. He is currently working on a mixtape entitled
"Grassroots" which will be dropped later in 2011.No Suh, who describes
his music as "the soundtrack to the intellectual revolution", is not
concerned with the fame or money as much as he is concerned with
sparking thought. "I just want to be heard, I want all the folks who
think about the stuff i think about on the low not to be ashamed or feel
alone, for them to know that there are people from all walks of life
who question the same things they question". And as for the ones who
don't think in the same way he does? "Well..." he says "i just want
those people to listen to my music, and say 'damn, i never thought about
it like that', whether they agree or not, they gotta admit my music
makes a strong argument for my stance on things".
