Bio

Noah was born “Noel Dixon” to Honduran immigrant parents that divorced when he was a young child. The middle child of a group of five, Noel and his family lived in a housing project in Boston’s notoriously violent neighborhood of Roxbury.
At nine, Noel witnessed his older sister brutally shot and murdered outside their home.
At 11, Noel’s mother Celia Dixon was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Unbeknown to anyone, the death of Celia Dixon became the birth of inspiration and the story of hope in little Noel.
In the absence of his father and after the death of his mother, Noel’s oldest sister took custody of the unwieldy clan. After an extended period of unrest and trauma in the Dixon household, Noel sought music as a refuge from the bleak circumstances of his environment.
During an in depth and personally revealing conversation with his cousin Sadik Don, co-founder of Black Shade Records, Noel reached an epiphany. Seeking more for his life, Noel recommitted his self to school and Rap music.
Unable to forget the traumas of his past, those experiences served as the basis for Noel’s transformation to Noah. Believing that a new life started with his musical rebirth, Noah has used his life story as the back drop to the music he creates. Seen by many in the underground Rap community of Boston as a fresh start for a city that has been plagued by a poor showing in Rap music, Noah’s debut album, “the Beginning” promises to deliver.
An eclectic mixture representing the diverse facets of Rap music, the Beginning is the bastard child of Southern Hip-Hop and East Coast Rap. Hard knocking original tracks and intriguing stories produced by the best of the Bean. It is the vessel by which Noah brings life to a new world.
