Bio

Noah is just 24-years-old and he's already on his second musical life. His first began in 1993 on his 11th birthday when his his older brother gave him a guitar. With uncanny talent and remarkable determination, Noah quickly became a powerhouse blues player and noted prodigy in his hometown of Dayton Ohio. At 13, he opened up for Derek Trucks. At 14, he jammed onstage with Bobby Blue Bland. By 16, he'd opened up for Leon Russell and Boz Scaggs, and began an eight year run headlining the Best Buy stage at the Chicago Blues Festival. He recorded and released several traditional blues albums (including Buzz Me, through blues audiophile label APO, which garnered a top 10 blues radio track) and met and played with legends such as Denise LaSalle, Latimore, Hubert Sumlin and Henry Townsend.

Noah loves the blues and deeply respects his musical heroes but in the last several years he felt a need to express his own musical ideas and delve more deeply into the craft of songwriting. And as much as he loves Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf (and Jimi Hendrix and the Beatles) he is also enamored of the music of contemporaries like Elliot Smith, Pavement, and the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion...

With the same passion and determination he used to master the guitar, he dug into songwriting and became a stunningly creative and expressive young artist. Noah has integrated his compositions with his roots in the blues, creating a world of music entirely his own, ranging from blistering 60's and 70's influenced rockers, heartbreaking epic ballads, experimental instrumental loops and dream sequences--with lyrics of depth, humor, seriousness, irony and heart.
