The Long Story:

Noah Churchill's life as a musician began at the age of seven, when asked what he wished for "Santa" to leave under the Christmas tree, he replied: "a saxaphone". From the first moment he picked up the instrument, Noah's natural musical ability became apparent. But Noah's relationship with music itself was always apparent, and perhaps inevitable.

Music was both a heritage and a tradition in Noah's upbringing: his grandfather was a jazz pianist/arranger/composer/conductor; his grandmother was a cellist in the local symphony orchestra; his parents played guitar and sang, and older brother played piano and percussion instruments. This, combined with a network of musically talented extended family and friends introduced Noah to a variety of musical genres. The sounds of classical, jazz, folk, sea-chanties, country, big-band, rock, pop and multi-cultural music were frequently a part of daily life and family gatherings. He was "tuned-in" to music at an early age and had the innate ability to play "by ear".

After years of playing alto sax in school bands and jazz ensembles Noah began exploring other instruments. Using his understanding of music theory to master several string and wind instruments, he began to focus on guitar as his primary instrument, absorbing various styles and techniques solely by concentrated observation and practice. Once he began composing his own music and lyrics, he discovered the path that would allow him to do what he does best - perform his original material!

Over the next few years Noah's travels took him to locations near and far, living and performing in California, Oregon, Hawaii, and Texas as well as visits to Cuba and New Zealand. He travelled to and performed in Arizona, Colorado, Montana and Washington, where he was well received and continues to amass a following of friends and fans. His most recent travels have taken him to Germany, Italy and France. Travelling to promote his music and expand his friend/fan base has afforded Noah a wealth of experience, enriching his songwriting and performance skills.

Besides being a talented artist and musician, Noah is also an exceptional human being, often reaching out to help others. One comment from his "Myspace" site illustrates the effect he has on many who cross his path. Quoting a line from Noah's song, "One Hand Giving", a friend writes:

" '...just remember that a man you have not met before could be the stranger feeding you when you're hungr
