Biography

You could literally say, Noah King has music "in his blood" - the 3rd of 4 children born to William King, of the “Commodores” and Shirley Hanna-King, Grammy nominated songwriter. It would seem Noah couldn’t help but be involved in music, growing up.
Noah wasn’t. He was more interested in sports!... but as he grew, he found himself drawn to people who had lived their lives with a sense of purpose and passion. The conviction of people like Martian Luther King, Gandhi, Mohammed Ali, Jackie Robinson, Oprah Winfrey. Noah began to write and formed, what he began to call the “Renegade Soldier” movement, based on his philosophy that he was part of a generation with more freedom than any before it - and less determination to use that freedom. He made a decision to use his life in some way, to make a difference.
Growing up in the 90’s meant hip hop exposure. Like most teenagers, Noah would perform with and for friends. It was routine fun... but something began to happen. When Noah took the mic, people sat down to listen. Even he was surprised that his peers seemed thirsty for the new perspective he was offering.
He began being asked to perform more and more. While attending L.A. Valley College, he began to get serious about recording his ideas and the things began to snowball! He reunited with is high school friend and bass player, Joe Rausch and together before they knew it, word of mouth was creating a buzz. Winners of the B.B.King’s “Battle of the Bands” , Noah and his “Renegade Soldier Movement” were getting booked repeatedly, everywhere from U.S.C. to the Sunset Strip (Key Club, Troubadour, Roxy, etc) and Noah’s favorite venue ... House of Blues!

Lyrics

The World Will Make Way

Written By: Noah King

Born to unify mankind,
So much going on inside of my mind,
I’m young but got to find what I’m looking for,
The intangible,
The only thing in life no man has ever had an answer for,
The unlimited path to find freedom,
closing my eyes oh my god at last I can see it,
ever since I’m on a mission to live love and feel,
give blood and tears to my lovers and friends,
I aint stopping until the prophecy passes,
My comrades ride with me until we’re lying in the casket,
I didn’t always know,
I’d walk this road
Growing up I felt alone isolated and cold,
Everything that I would do,
I was trying to be cool,
Wanted so badly to be accepted by you,
I didn’t think myself was enough,
So I’d sag my pants talk with an accent,
And try to be tough,
Little did I know then what I truly know now,
Three years I’ve meditated and figured it out,
Now on everything I love I ride for world peace,
Speak my mind until all eyes are on me,
Music is just the beginning,
What good is a grammy when you’ve got superficial people running the world,
If I die tomorrow at least I know that I lived today a Renegade and said what I have to say,
Chorus:
If you’ve got that feeling,
You live a life of the realness,
You give it up to fulfillment,
And the world will have to make way,
For somebody that was honest,
For somebody that was richeous,
For somebody that was real enough to say what he’s got to say,

Born in the land of the rich,
Where kids at sixteen will get a new car straight out the dealership,
Where porches and benzes ride by,
One of the most well known lands of all time,
A place where it’s a common thing for middle aged women to put coligen in their face,
Cocaine in high school restrooms,
Third graders cursing like they got turrets syndrom,
I always felt like I was on the outside looking in,
Like life is a movie and my eyes are my camera,
Now the question is am I man enough just to handle it,
Rather that avoid I’ll face it and gain experience,
I used to try to hide where I from,
Because I mc,
And mc’s are supposed to be from the slums,
Now I see it’s my advantage that I’m better than them,
I’ll never ever take for granted my blessing again,
I made three or friends as a kid,
That will be my buddies until the day that I’m dead it aint a problem,
I make music because I truly believe,
That I can unify people with words that I speak,
This is my life everything I am is in these rhymes,
I’m a give it to you honest and hope u feel the vibe,
Renegade Soldier until the game is over,
You know the name holding it high,
My name is Noah

Chorus:
If you’ve got that feeling,
You live a life of the realness,
You give it up to fulfillment,
And the world will have to make way,
For somebody that was honest,
For somebody that was richeous,
For somebody that was real enough to say what he’s got to say,

Internal Fire

Written By: Noah King

Verse 1:

Running away,
My worst fears don’t stand a chance,
By any means we should help those that can’t advance,
The mission is in the living,
If we aint making music for change then I don’t want to make music at all,
Man is ruled by his money,
Power and greed,
I want beauty like the flower that came out of the seed,
I don’t feel like a man,
I’m a spirit in life,
An energy that was sent to be a reflection of light,
The potential in a human vessel,
Is infinite,
Learn the lesson before they try to test you,
It’s pertanite,
And I can feel it in my soul,
That’s how deep it goes,
Love, peace, and truth imbedded deep in the roots
I want a world of love,
Because aint nobody giving a damn so I’m a sing it as loud as I can
Boycott the hate,
Only deal with raw facts,
No judging man,
it just is what it is and that’s that,
The answer is so simple,
And easy to find,
It cant be told,
it lyes inside of your mind,
And if you spend enough time you will find it,
Become enlightened,
Start to rise up with others like-minded
Bottom line is we all want to live free,
Comfortable and safe in a neighborhood of peace,
but often it seems that we get confused as to what that means,
resulting to war and spilling blood in the streets,
Tell me this,
Who’s problem are you solving by busting on another person with your revolver?
Nothing gets resolved whenever the gun shoots
We watching the TV the media is raising the youth,
Brainwashing them and creating life long insecurities,
Imagine a world with no countries or currency,
No money or God to die over, The world belongs to everyone,
We’re all brothers man,

Chorus:
Rolling and riding,
To the fortress of Zion,
And I’m hoping to find my way,
Feeling this fire,
It’s that internal desire,
Because I’ve got to try to find another way,
Tell me where the revolution at and I’ll follow,
I just need a little motivation,
Tell me where the revolution at and I’ll follow,
Just point me in the right direction
Tell me where the revolution at and I’ll follow,
I just need a little motivation,
Tell me where the revolution at and I’ll follow,
Just point me in the right direction

Verse 2:

Roll to the vibe exposed,
A Lot of juice in the room,
So my eyes are closed,
I live for the moment because it’s all we got
Right here one love flesh to flesh on the spot,
I’m in the zone you couldn’t stop me if you called the cops,
And my goal is to ease pain whenever the song drops,
Because we all have to share this reality,
exist in a manner that is best for humanity,
I understand that’s it’s hard to speak peace when you don’t have food to eat,
When babies are crying because the women are dying,
Because the males are fighting over land and power,
And bombing homes,
Putting bullets in the heads of other people,
Shhhhh! listen closely you can hear them still screaming,
They tell me that I’m crazy,
For making a song about world peace,
I believe that I can happen
And It’s possible, I’m a get your ass up out the seat,
There’s a million other people that are just like me,
Together we rise,
together we fall,
I’m willing to die as long as it is in the name of the cause,
Everybody’s got to die,
But not everybody really lives,
Mine as well go out with a bang,
Everyday you are alive and you don’t know why,
Is a day you should take the time to find out,

Chorus:
Rolling and riding,
To the fortress of Zion,
And I’m hoping to find my way,
Feeling this fire,
Its an internal desire,
Because I’ve got to try to find another way
And an internal fire,
We got to try to find another way
Tell me where the revolution at and I’ll follow,
I just need a little motivation,
Tell me where the revolution at and I’ll follow,
Just point me in the right direction,
Tell me where the revolution at and I’ll follow,
I just need a little motivation,
Tell me where the revolution at and I’ll follow,
Just point me in the right direction

Verse 3:

Theres no money in a cure for AIDS
But theres a whole lot of it in the medicine patients have to take,
It’s a game learn the rules and properly play,
It’s up to us to get smart in the streets and make a change
Recognize the system,
Organize so we can provide for our brothers and our sisters,
First off all we’ve got to deal with our communities,
can’t depend on Uncle Sam,
Because in the end its going to be you and me,
That get affected And I don’t want to be a victim,
Revolution!!! Power to the People!!!
Rock it to them,
Sock it to them,
Until we find freedom,
Honestly the prophecy is going to override evil,
Mankind has been fighting for thousands of years,
To make a land that will be a better place for our kids,
The only problem is everybody thinks that their right,
We’re more willing to fight than to compromise,
I can see it in their eyes they lying,
And now we’re getting sick of it,
Finally at the point where I really don’t give a shit
Time to do something to get us out o
