Bio

You could literally say, Noah King has music "in his blood" - the 3rd of 4 children born to William King, of the “Commodores” and Shirley Hanna-King, Grammy nominated songwriter. It would seem Noah couldn’t help but be involved in music, growing up.
Noah wasn’t. He was more interested in sports!... but as he grew, he found himself drawn to people who had lived their lives with a sense of purpose and passion. The conviction of people like Martian Luther King, Gandhi, Mohammed Ali, Jackie Robinson, Oprah Winfrey. Noah began to write and formed, what he began to call the “Renegade Soldier” movement, based on his philosophy that he was part of a generation with more freedom than any before it - and less determination to use that freedom. He made a decision to use his life in some way, to make a difference.
Growing up in the 90’s meant hip hop exposure. Like most teenagers, Noah would perform with and for friends. It was routine fun... but something began to happen. When Noah took the mic, people sat down to listen. Even he was surprised that his peers seemed thirsty for the new perspective he was offering.
He began being asked to perform more and more. While attending L.A. Valley College, he began to get serious about recording his ideas and the things began to snowball! He reunited with is high school friend and bass player, Joe Rausch and together before they knew it, word of mouth was creating a buzz. Winners of the B.B.King’s “Battle of the Bands” , Noah and his “Renegade Soldier Movement” were getting booked repeatedly, everywhere from U.S.C. to the Sunset Strip (Key Club, Troubadour, Roxy, etc) and Noah’s favorite venue ... House of Blues!
