Rising Dance-Pop Superstar NOAH To Release Anthem With Stunning Animated Video
Songwriter brilliantly fuses infectious 1980s melodies with gritty club beats

New York, New York - Rising dance-pop superstar, NOAH, is already storming dance floors with his anthemic debut single, “N.Y.i.D.” The digital single will be officially issued on September 27, 2012 and features five euphorically perfected mixes. The iconic Gotham track will be released jointly with a cleverly innovative animation video.

The hot debut single, ”N.Y.i.D.” (NOAH Records), from pop superstar-to-be artist, NOAH, is a Technicolor blend of soaring 1980s pop, a la Madonna, George Michael, and Prince, danced up with gritty and hard-driving beats. This irresistible dance-pop track evokes modern electro chart toppers like Moby and Mark Ronson. The upcoming “N.Y.i.D.” digital single release will feature five distinct mixes. A compactly blissful “Radical Radio Mix.” Transcendent elongated radio and club versions titled, “Dirrty Panda's "Come Alive NY" Radio and Club Mix.” And a pair of revelatory edits, made to spec for maximum late-night impact, these are “Rad Club Mix A” and “Rad Club Mix B. Additionally, there is a new unreleased Electro-Tribal Club and Radio edit, as well as a super hot extended Dub edit from Dirrty Panda, currently being unleashed for radio and clubland.

It will be available to all digital service providers and pushed as a single in the U.K. on AWAL Records. Three of these are collaborations with Radical Academy and part of a five-track debut EP the duo are currently prepping in the studio lab. NOAH, a singer/songwriter/producer, and the emerging UK-based producer Radical Academy (Ben Dabson), met via Indabamusic.com. That site has described and praised Radical Academy’s versatility thusly: "From heavy beats and remixes to lush strings. Saxophonist, producer, and general badass... He's sure to keep our ears active for a long time to come." Also included is an anthemic mix by a highly promising young Canadian talent named Dirrty Panda (Ralph Villapando) which is sure to be a hit on the airwaves and at the clubs alike.

In conjunction with the single, NOAH is releasing an animated video by Indonesian director Fajrin Affandi. The quirky genius video stars a cartoon version of NOAH. It also features the stereo “soundbar” lights of classic hi-fi systems dancing, evoking the NYC skyline, and a playfully, exaggeratedly large headphone cable darting through the mazelike city. It’s a stunning visual for the iconic Gotham anthem.

“’N.Y.i.D.’ is short for ‘New York is Dead.’ The title is quite personal in a sense that, for me, my dark years here in New York City are now behind me. This is my Renaissance. I am rising from the ashes!,” NOAH reveals. “The song chimes ‘Come Alive, Come Alive, Come Alive!’ There are many avid NYC Lovers that take offense to the title ‘N.Y.i.D.’ so literally, but, ultimately, the song is about life! It’s is all about wanting to live, to find the party, to celebrate! You’re out on a Sat night and it’s dead, you want to go downtown and have a good time.”
