Bio

Noah Tye is an emerging singer/songwriter, hailing from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Combining his soothing vocal style with his distinct guitar playing, Noah has formed a unique roots/folk/blues sound that’s hard to ignore.
Noah has been studying music and performing in festivals around Nova Scotia since the age of six. Being submerged in music his whole life has led to a keen ear and an immense passion for music. He has learned how to play many instruments including; ukulele, harmonica, mandolin, piano, and truly excels as a guitar player. To date, Noah has shared the stage with JUNO-award-winner Garrett Mason, Jay Smith, Ashley Condon, Archie Gillis, and many other talented east coast musicians.
Noah is currently touring in support of his debut album “The Devlin Ewe,” which has been receiving high praise from his peers and audiences around the Maritimes.
After playing a track on Q104’s Route 104, host Tom Bedell said, “Noah not only has a great sound, but a definite knack for songwriting as well! Like James Taylor meets Bruce Cockburn. We’ll be seeing lots of him in the future…I’m sure of it.”
Be sure to watch out for Noah performing live at a venue near you, or you can find him working hard and studying to repair all the instruments he loves to play, at the Halifax Folklore Centre.
