Bio

No Compromise is a band out of Southern Illinois that is made up of dedicated christian musicians in the area. They intertwine Contemporary Christian music with an edgier melodic rock style and blues background that will keep their easy to listen to songs and catchy rhythms stuck in your head all day.

No Compromise started in the summer of 2007 as a three-piece band composed of Nathan Betts (Lead Guitar), Brad Zeschke (Bass Guitar), and Christopher Windings (Drums). The band would continue playing shows locally around Anna, Illinois at various churches until the winter of that year when they were joined by Austin Walker (Acoustic Guitar).

With their first summer as a band under their belt, the fall of 2007 became a growing season for the band. They played all around the area at festivals and church events. It was about this time that the band had to determine how serious they were about their ministry. Going into the winter when there are less opportunities to play sets the perfect backdrop for a change in direction. With all of the members going to school full time, full commitment was a tough decision. The band continued to move forward, but it was at the loss of Austin that they did so.

In the spring of 2008 things started to take off with the arrival of Nathan Ralls (Lead Guitarist), and Adrian Fox (Keyboards). The level of musicianship sky-rocketed to a peak at this point in the band's career. This was the point at which they began to establish their style and write music. It was also at this time that the band's goal of putting out a debut album was conspired.

The summer of 2008 proved to be the most productive summer so far in No Compromise's history. After playing at Liberty Fest, one of the largest christian events in Illinois, the band began to develop more than just a local reputation. With much persuasion from people that had seen them perform live, the decision was made to start putting a dent in production of an album.

As progress continued into the winter, a live performance was recorded at Shawnee Community College that was released in the summer of 2009.

In January 2009 No Compromise went through many changes. Aaron Chamness (Synth Keys), and Billy Pind (Vocals, Acoustic Guitar), joined the already strong five piece stepped forward to the current seven piece group.

At the start of 2010, Nathan Betts (Lead Vocals and Guitar) left the group and Billy Pind stepped in to fill the lead spot. This is also when progress began on the construction of the second album. Both albums are self-produced by the band in home studios owned by the band members.

No Compromise has had the opportunity in 2010 of sharing the stage with great bands such as:
David Crowder Band
Philmont
Run Kid Run
Family Force Five
Remedy Drive
Eleventy-Seven
Write This Down
and many more...

Under the management of John Windings, the band continues to expand their arsenal of resources to take their ministry beyond anything they could accomplish themselves. Looking forward to the release of the debut album, No Compromise hopes that their music continues to bless other people and to reach others for Christ as long as they are able.
