A heavy dose of oddball freak magnetism naturally pulled poet Phoebe and songwriter Greg together. No Consolation developed from their love of songs both depressingly melodic and irreverently satirical.

Biography

Somewhere a fortuitous sperm and egg hatched Phoebe Reeves in the wilds of upstate New York. Somewhere a rather confused sperm and egg hatched Greg Loving in the tame cornfields of central Illinois. Not in that order, of course. After many adventures in between, Phoebe and Greg met at Clermont College, where she teaches English and he teaches Philosophy. A heavy dose of oddball freak magnetism naturally pulled poet Phoebe and songwriter Greg together. No Consolation developed from their love of songs both depressingly melodic and irreverently satirical. Their material ranges from Greg’s bipolar originals through the musical poppy fields of folk, country and indie weirdness.
