"Press for "Self-Titled""

"Really melodic metalcore with no boundries, and whatever boundries you try to put up for them, I’m sure they will destroy in a secod. The guitars and vocals are creative and mind-blowing..The lyrics are totally inspirational, it hits me straight in the heart" - Blunt Magazine

"Press for "Self-Titled""

"it is the ability to bring together screaming hardcore with pseudo-indie rock that makes them stick out. Most bands would fall on their face when attempting these stylistic leaps, but NOR walk through it all with grace" - Exclaim Magazine

"Press for "Self-Titled""

"A powerful release that seems to get better everytime. Melodic metalcore..that certainly stands out from the hordes" - AMP Magazine

"Press for "Self-Titled""

"This is definately the album of the year!" - Silent Screams Magazine

"Press for "Self-Titled""

"You will be crushed by the heaviness of this album, and surprised by the creativeness that surfaces in every single track" - Dirt Culture Magazine

"Press for "Self-Titled""

"It has one of the thickest and most powerful guitar tones I’ve ever heard on a hardcore album. This is easily one of the best albums that the metalcore genre has ever seen. With a new album in the works for this year I can’t wait to see how the band plans to top this album. Just the fact alone that the new album might be even better then this has me salivating for new material" - Unboundzine

""The Years To Come" Press"

"brutal convergence of hardcore, metal and (at least vocal wise), even a touch of melodic nu metal" - Alternative Press

""The Years To Come" Press"

"Their attention to detail worked wonders. Not only is this album their hardest to date, complete with dogpile riffs and and ultra-precise percussion; it's also their most diverse musically and lyrically" - Decibel

Bio

In a genre full of bands that can all seemingly follow the same standard song writing formulas, Nodes Of Ranvier have risen up creating their own niche in the metal/hardcore scene. Unique and original song arrangements that vary from breakdowns of epic proportions overlaid with harsh, deep vocals to hand clapping choruses with catchy melodies have caused the press to praise their “Self-Titled” album (2003) saying it was “one of the top ten albums of the year, if not of all time”.

Based out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Nodes Of Ranvier come from a place with a struggling local scene which has only heightened their own creativity and caused them to hit the road and work hard for every ounce of their success. Their two full-length albums on Facedown Records “Lost Senses, More Innocence” and “Nodes Of Ranvier” have sold well over 30,000 copies and continue to climb as they play with bands such as Bleeding Through, Everytime I Die, Bury Your Dead, Caliban, Comeback Kid, Norma Jean, Misery Signals, Extol and more across the US!

Nodes Of Ranvier’s new album “The Year’s To Come” will be released this fall and promises to deliver one of the best albums that will come out this year. Catch them on the road all year long!
