Bio
Noelle Price is a lyrically rich singer-songwriter who draws her images from her life experiences as a carpenter, mental health worker, avid hiker, traveller, and student of physics and theoretical math. These days she rebuilds houses in arguably questionable areas of New Orleans.
Noelle grew up listening to John Denver and the Kingston Trio and retained a fondness for the folk sound as she progressively became more and more drawn to its rougher and more peculiar edges, as embodied by artists like Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, Dar Williams, Glen Phillips, Ani DiFranco, Tori Amos, and to genre-stretch a little further, Stephen Sondheim.
"Noelle's writing is superb enjoyment."
