Shannon Denbow - Rhythm guitar/Lead vocals -

A singer/songwriter from Lubec, Maine. She has been singing since she was five, perfoming on stage with her father and his band at local talent shows and benefit suppers. She "headlined" some of the shows with the band her father produced, "The Denbow Kids" -with Shannon singing lead, her sister, Traci on keys/back-up vocals and her brother, Timmy on the kid-sized drums. Tragically, she lost her father to suicide when she was eight. In the middle of grammar school, an active saxophone student and chorus member, Shannon found her father's Gibson Hummingbird and Fender Jazzmaster and taught herself how to play guitar. She found old cassette recordings of her father's originals and began to play along. She found a true passion and solid way to channel her pain. After meeting her future husband (and drummer) Bernie "Flash" Kellish in Las Vegas, and after many months of joking about moving to Maine to dig clams, Shannon found herself submersed in the local music scene of Bangor, Maine! Over the next five years, with the support of Pastor Lee Witting, she recorded, filmed and produced many local artists, doing the live sound while her husband hosted the "Brick" Open Mic. She also produces and edits her own music and videos.
