Bio

Marc Seguin and Tracy Clark had been performing in local bands for many years. In 2004, they found themselves in a 4 piece Electric Chicago Blues Band. Enjoying the music but not the personnel issues, they decided to DROP the rhythm section, get themselves out on the STREET and play some REAL BLUES. This effort became known as NO FIXED ADDRESS. After a summer of BLUES BUSKING, it started to get COLD. It was time to get into some local clubs, start writing original material and maybe think about reaching an audience that wasn’t in PERPETUAL motion…

Marc Seguin was born in Windsor, Ontario. He was introduced to the harmonica when he was four by his Grandmother. Easily frustrated as a child, he picked it up again when he sixteen and discovering the Blues.

Marc began discovering the Blues by sneaking into jams as an underage teenager in local Windsor clubs. He was also fortunate enough to watch the inspiring performances of Great Blues Harmonica players like William Clarke, Gary Primich, and Jerry Portnoy. Marc also began taking harmonica lessons from Kelly Hoppe (Harmonica player from the Canadian band, Big Sugar).

In the summer of 1999, Marc performed at the Ottawa Blues Festival, with the Ottawa Blues band, T.S. Harpoon and the Blues Whalers. Marc is also the winner of the 2002 and 2003 Ottawa Blues Harp Blow-Off competition, held at the Rainbow Bistro.

Tracy Clark is an Ottawa native who started playing acoustic guitar in the early 1970’s. At that time he was determined to learn folk blues in the styles of Leadbelly, Woody Guthrie, Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee. He also had the privilege of seeing both Son Seals and later, Albert Colins by sneaking into a long forgotten Ottawa pub as an underage teenager.
