Noise Control are a Dublin based band that push the boundaries of Hip Hop, Rock and Dance music by blending these styles to create something really exciting. With Mark’s words and quick rhymes, Kevin and Bobby’s infectious riffs and El and Dec’s explosive rhythm section, Noise Control use lifts, breaks, builds, effects and loops to create a whole new universe where the worlds of digital and rock music collide in a new and unexpected synthesis.
This band generates the ecstatic atmosphere of electronic music and the instantaneous energy of a rock gig, electrifying the audience by taking the moment to new and unchartered sonic territory and transforming a live show into an exciting event in its own right.
They are by far one of the most innovative and energetic bands around who are being talked about as a the cream of hidden talent in Dublin Ireland right now!.
Tipped by HOT PRESS as the “No1 band to watch out for in 2008” they have performed support to UNDERWORLD, BASEMENT JAXX, ASIAN DUB FOUNDATION, weekend. NOISE CONTROL made MYLO as well as opening up for THE PRODIGY on "Their Law" Tour in Dublin, Belfast and Cork.
NC headlined Castlepalooza 2007 & with a kind of unstoppable energy currently making them the most exciting and sought after live acts in Ireland .NC also headlined The IMRO Showcase’s both in 2006/7 and also headlined the Hard Working Class Heroes weekend. They made a show stopping TV appearance on RTE at 'O2 in the Park’, more recently on RTE’s The Café. Having brought Your Festival to a thunderous close last summer, they hit the airwaves on Tom Dunne’s Pet Sounds on Today FM and recorded a stonking session for Dan Hegarty on 2FM.
Noise Control are currently putting the finishing touches to their debut album. Scheduled for a summer 2008 release the album promises to be mix of the energy of their live show with top quality studio production via the wizardry and production skills of producer Ger McDonnell.
