Bio
There's a certain attitude that comes with being a Texan, and Noisy Cricket's musical flavor reeks of south Texas beef jerky; the kind that you tear into, chew on forever, and that leaves you with that unmistakable flavor in your mouth, thirsty for more ... Mother nature, broken bones, old friendships, and a passion for the 'rawk' is to thank for the birth of the Crickets. A power outage, one dark and stormy night in '96, led to a chance meeting in an apartment complex parking lot, where singer and guitarist Chris Lloyd and drummer Spencer Booth discovered they were both musicians between bands. A year and several musicians later, another piece of the Cricket puzzle fell into place when Spencer called longtime friend and previous band mate Chris Loring to rock the guitar. The musical direction was coming together when Spencer broke his leg in a jet ski accident a month later! One healed up leg and several months later, the guys started jamming again and writing, and the idea of an actual original rock band was coming into focus. In November of '97, the bottom end was filled with the addition of Mark Jordan, longtime friend an former band mate of both Spencer and Chris Loring. The band has since forged ahead, creating ORIGINAL rock 'n 'roll with a southern twist... What's next in store for the Crickets? Come check out the RAWK yourself!
