N.O.M.A.D.C.

N.O.M.A.D.C. is an acronym for No One Man Above Da Crew. This is the essence of the group as people first, and Hip Hop artist second. da N.O.M.A.D.C. consist of three ferocious emcees, Trappa John MD, Desporado, and King David who also bangs out tracks with producer, Rugged Tareign. Da N.O.M.A.D.C. are best described as the antidote for Hip Hop in the new millenium. Our sound is reminiscent of the prolific and poetic rhyme style that made hip hop what it is today. Our musical philosophy is that music allows people to connect on an emotional level. So we make music that you can not only hear, but music that you can feel on many other levels. Our music connects with the listeners from the most mellowed out end of the spectrum to tracks that have so much energy that they can barely be contained on wax. Our music contains subject matter ranging from all elements of life from positive and negative, life and death, justice and injustice, etc. Our influences range from Hip Hop artist like Run DMC, Rakim, KRS-One, NWA, Nas, Wu-Tang and an endless list of others to Historical figures like Malcolm X and Martin Luther King to Ancient Egyptian Culture and African History. What sets us apart from other groups is that we are da N.O.M.A.D.C. and that we are the only ones that can bring our very unique experiences to music. Our story is about four cats that were born to make hip hop music and have experienced enough crazy shit to make a few movies and definitely bang out a few Hip Hop classics.
