Dans un registre Rock aux sonorités US assez marquées, le EP de ce quintet wallon démontre un réel talent, proposant des compositions bien balancées et techniquement maîtrisées, en plus d'être mélodiquement convaincantes. Les deux morceaux les plus accrocheurs sont "In a box" et "Salmanazar" dont les inflexions font parfois penser aux Red Hot Chili Peppers. Si certains des autres titres affichent parfois un petit côté déjà entendu, le groupe affiche toutefois suffisamment de qualités pour qu'on l'encourage à persévérer. (pf) - Rif Raf

Bio
The project was born in a moist basement in Tubize near Brussels. Four of the band members were playing in the same band before, but for some reason they decided to start something brand new with another singer. When Johnat, a friend they had in common, showed up, they all knew they had found the voice they were looking for. Soon after the first songs were written, the name Nomad Experiment came out naturally, nomad in their head, in their sound, in their behaviour, experimental in the way they visualize a song. The band released a first homemade demo allowing them to start touring, they then also co-produced with their sound tech (Johan Milet) their first EP - 6 Tracks (available in stores, iTunes, ...) allowing them to sign a record deal with Hebra Records. After touring Belgium with their intense and energetic gigs including the Orangerie, Botanique, the Parkrock festival with Triggerfinger and Fishbone, they settled to write their first album. The album will be recorded in September and released by the end of 2008. They have a clear vision of the sound and the atmosphere they want to put in this album: sound as live as possible and as powerfu l as possible, whatever it takes.
The band has now regular fans that gather in front of the stage and scream out loud the lyrics and always ask for more. Every show is full of pure energy, pure sincerity, and pure love ...
