Bio

Nomad is a Hip-Hop artist from Nova Scotia, Canada. After practicing rap as a hobby in his early teens, he began to take rapping seriously at the age of 15 and recorded his first professional material at only 16 years old. After honing his skills for a year, at age 17 he began releasing his first material in the form of a free album titled "Vision 4D" and music videos to support the project. He has since released a follow-up project called "Take A Stand" as well as several singles and features. He is currently working on his debut studio EP.

While slowly building a local audience, Nomad, at just 16 years old caught the attention of local concert promoters and played his first show ever in his hometown opening for legendary Hip-Hop group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony in 2014. He has since performed all over Nova Scotia, including New Glasgow and Halifax, and has shared stages with many well known local and international acts such as Neon Dreams, Quake Matthews, City Natives, Madchild, Royce Da 5'9 and others. He performed at the prestigious South By Southwest Festival (SXSW) in Austin, Texas, was the sole opener for Akon in his hometown and performed at All 3 Coasts (A3C) Hip-Hop Festival in Atlanta, Georgia. He has now shifted his focus to finishing work on his next project.

Nomad's various influences include The Palmer Squares, Watsky, MF DOOM, Aesop Rock, Wax, Earl Sweatshirt, Denzel Curry, XXXTentacion, Eminem and others. His style can be described as complex lyricism and rhyme schemes over hard-hitting beats that make you want to bob your head. He brings intense energy to his live performances that are sure to have even the non-Hip-Hop fans in the crowd going wild.
