The best of South American punk rock, now in Europe! No Matarás (You shall not kill), an emblematic band of the Argentinian punk rock scene brings the energy and attitude of the New World to shake bodies and to awaken consciences of Europe.
Formed in 1990, No Matarás mixes classical punk with sounds and influences from alternative rock and the new wave. This guarantees an attractive musical combination without losing the energetic magic of its live performances. Currently, the band is established in Berlin and is preparing their first European tour.
Along a 20-year career, No Matarás has shared stages with punk rock icons like Marky Ramone and the Stiff Little Fingers. They are also scheduling shows with German punk references like Die Toten Hosen, Die Ärtze and the Kamikaze Queens.
Their lyrics cover a wide range of topics from social issues such as human behavior, power or injustice, to everyday matters like love or escape. Because of the versatility of their lyrics and music they are often labeled as “intellectual punk rock”, although they prefer to avoid any kind of label.
