"Willits group places third in Ukiah Band Slam"

A new Willits heavy metal band called No Method to Madness placed third at last Saturday's August 18, Band Slam in Ukiah. The four16-year-old Willits High School juniors--bass guitarist Kalan Gillispie, drummer Ricky Raffaini, singer Jimmy Layne and lead guitarist Charlie Foltz--have only been playing together for five months.
The group played for the first time at the Willits Home Town celebration on July 2.
