Bio

Born 1981 in Chicago IL on the west side of Chicago to my mother Yvon Head
and Milton Kelly. Conceived on a conjugal visit at the MCC “Federal Correctional Facility” I entered this world with a twin sister at cook county jail; not knowing what they were about to create, they made two beautiful children (Charves and Chanea). I came to this life feet first.
I only stayed with her the first 6 years of my life. My farther was incarcerated and my mom was going through tough times, so we stayed with my father’s family. I started out a humble, not knowing the things surrounding my life would create a lifestyle change with a different persona, that made me “No More”, it's a name that was given and chosen by the streets.
Music dates my beginnings, starting with an homework assignment. My cousin had to write a poem/stanza and ask me to do it and she received an passing grade. I wrote my first verse when I was in the third grade. I started rapping about my life to make the frustrations ease, when life had me feeling bad.
This overwhelming feeling of just wanting to express myself, I used to sneak through the side door to compete in MC battles at various clubs around Chicago. The feeling I got from experiencing the stage, crowd, the lights; motivated me to push forward and achieve something the world had never seen before. My Name comes from “the only one, never to be done again” the representation of the beginning and the end, “No More”.
My first live performance was at the Arie Crown Theater once a year, while I was attending Holy Angels. I performed in the first rap show at the Chicago Theater with Cash Money; various venues around the city like The Cotton Club, Kennedy-King College, George's Music Hall. performed at S.I.R. studios in Hollywood. My experience comes from performing at my fathers night club doing cover songs from artist like 2-Pac and Scarface, participating in freestyle battles sponsored by Budweiser “Budweiser Battle of the Iron Mike”; Miller “MGD Freestyle Battle”. Recently I did a drop for Lady J's Live radio & Webcast show.
