A veteran to the music business, Gary has been playing music professionally for 33 years. Originally from St. Charles, MO, Gary has toured extensively from New York to Alaska, playing bass for the likes of Buddy Emmons, Jack Green, Helen Cornelius, Head East and The Byrds. Having made a career of playing other's music, he now works strictly on writing and performing his own accoustic/electric material, and hopes to form a successful duo with daughter Jade. Gary hopes to show her the ropes of the business and elevate her promising career to new heights.
Jade Regot was born to a musical family, and has been singing and playing instruments, including the keyboard, saxaphone and guitar since the ripe old age of four. Previously a theater major and aspiring actress at Indiana University, Jade was a principal soloist in Godspell and The Mystery of Edwin Drood as well as some other small plays in Bloomington. Now 22, she has been writing music/lyrics and playing guitar for over 8 years and hopes to have a successful career in the music industry with her father or solo.
Gary has his roots set deep in the heart of classic country music, though he has been inspired thus from every incarnation of rock music hence forth.
Jade's tastes are extremely ecclectic, from bluegrass to hip-hop, but her inspiration comes mostly from the music of Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Simon and Garfunkel, James Taylor, C.S.N.Y., Aretha Franklin, Bonnie Rait, to mention a few.
