Noons

Noons started in January 2008 as a musical collaboration between Brian (vocals) and Heidi (guitar). Quite early it became clear that Brian was, next to a talented singer, also an inspired song writer. Heidi on the other hand developed herself to be a composer. Only after a few months, this duo got in to a studio with some friends/musicians to record their first demos. Meanwhile, Brian and Heidi did not rest. The search for expanding the band with musicians went on unmitigated. The definitive Noons members were set when Sebastiaan joined the band in October 2008 as their drummer. Shortly before that, Tim (guitar) and Nico (bass) already brought in to the band some extra highs and lows. These two experienced musicians also showed to be great song writers/composers and the repertoire of the band extended very quickly. Only a few weeks after the group was completed, their first try out concert was a fact. They played their own songs varied with some very well chosen covers of Placebo, Zornik and the Pixies. Positive reactions encouraged the band to keep on hard working to stay on track. Nowadays, Noons has a very busy calendar. More and more people discover this band and want to offer them a place on stage for a gig. This band released their first EP ‘Picturing my Life’ on August 1 2009.
