Throughout rock-n-roll's diverse history, there is one group that has risen above the rest, and to this day, remains one of the most influential, inspiring, and popular groups of all time - Led Zeppelin. Although nearly two decades have passed since the demise of Led Zeppelin, their music remains as popular today as in the 70's when they reigned as the world's greatest touring attraction.
No Quarter is a group of four extremely talented and seasoned musicians who because of their love of the music are able to capture the sound and feel of Led Zeppelin and present it in a true-to-style format, live on stage, note for note, No Quarter believes that although almost any band can learn how to play a Led Zeppelin song, it takes musicianship and talent to do it right; they don't merely learn a song - they truly study it. The sum of all these elements equals the most musically accurate representation of Led Zeppelin possible.
John “Eggplant” Baker – Vocals, Keyboards
John has been playing the music of Led Zeppelin for nearly 20 years. He is no stranger to the Milwaukee music scene. John is a member of disco sensation Gyration and The Booze Brothers; his talents were also seen in the Beatles tribute band Applecore, as well as In The Light. John’s uncanny ability to sound like Robert Plant makes No Quarter an unforgettable experience.
Krishna – Guitar
Krishna is a self-taught guitar player who learned to play guitar by listening to Led Zeppelin. Although currently playing with punk rock legend Texas Terri, he has been seen playing with the likes of Gilby Clark (Guns N’ Roses) and Ryan Roxie (Alice Cooper, Slash’s Snakepit). Krishna brings the raw, emotive power of Les Paul guitars and Marshall amps to No Quarter that was Led Zeppelin.
Joey Carini – Bass
Joey, like the other members of No Quarter, can be seen numerous with numerous bands in Milwaukee. He is a member of Willy Porter, Reverser, Gyration, Growing Nation as well as the Us Project. Joey has also been in Straight Leg and The Sociables. John Paul Jones played a key role in Led Zeppelin, and Joey has the ability to play all intricate bass lines note for note, making him an invaluable member of the No Quarter experience.
Dave Schoepke – Drums
Drumming for most of his life, Dave has spent that time the way most productive musicians do: performing, writing, practicing, and teaching. Along the way, he has been in over twenty bands and played on more than 30 recordings while undertaking an average of one hundred performances per year throughout the country. Dave currently plays in high profile bands like The Probers, Willy Porter and Reverser.
This “supergroup” of sorts is sure to amaze all fans of Led Zeppelin with their unbelievable ability to bring the music of Led Zeppelin alive.
