No Regrets Bio
NO REGRETS was formed in March of 2007 as a result of band founders Eric and Marti Reeves participating in the Los Angeles Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp. Eric was already an established veteran of the Cleveland and Phoenix music scenes as a drummer and singer. And though performing live was a new avenue for Marti, she brought to the table a professional vocal sound, creative personality and determination that most lead singers could only hope for. After having the opportunity to work with the likes of Paul Stanley (Kiss), Simon Kirke (Bad Company) and Sandy Gennaro (Joan Jett) in L.A., it seemed a natural decision that the Reeves would start their own group in order to perform and share the great classic rock that had inspired them.
Over the course of the next several months, Eric and Marti set out to realize their vision with two key goals: develop a strong repertoire with a good variety of tunes that haven’t been overplayed and work with other musicians not only well-versed in the style, but who also had the ability and desire to bring old songs new life. After many auditions, several roster changes and countless hours of rehearsals and planning, No Regrets’ current line-up hit the ground running with its first public performance in April of 2008 and have never slowed down. The band maintains a healthy schedule of public performances and private performances throughout the valley and continues to grow its diverse fan base.
To say that Eric and Marti feel lucky to have brought together a band they are proud of would be an understatement. The group is blessed to have talented musicians who can also sing, helping them even further diversify their song list and create great harmonies. No Regrets continues to focus its performances around a variety of 70’s and 80’s classic rock, pulling from such artists as: Journey, Heart, Thin Lizzy, Foreigner, Joan Jett and many other great super groups. They keep their performances fresh by continually expanding their song lists with many fun tunes that you just won’t hear from other bands.
The band’s name came from Eric and Marti’s desire to live their lives with….NO REGRETS.
