Bio
Norm Ballinger has been writing songs for over 30 years. With 3 CD's now completed, his recent work is very fresh and fully realized. Norm is a poet, a carpenter, and student of life and brings all of these qualities to bear on his songs and performance. The band he formed in November 2012 under his name has been playing to full rooms, gathering more fans and momentum in the short time they've been together. With Norm on guitar and lead vocals playing off of Kurt Huffman on fretless bass, and Jorge de Armas on percussion, the band expertly runs through Norms songs from smokey blues to heartful folk songs to very danceable folk-rock jams in the course of a very original, dynamic show.
