Norn

To listen to Nørn is a trip towards the lands of the inside.
Composed by Ann-Sylvie Casagrande, the music of the trio speaks about the living root which man maintains with his world, the world of yesterday or of tomorrow. We could speak about ethno-modern music, because as it is precisely between tradition and innovation.
So the spectator can suddenly feel he is submerged in a kind of very ancient culture; it is as though he finds the song an old small tribe who disappeared ; he participates in the vibrating transmission of a forgotten heritage. But the moment after, the harmonic transgressions, fierce polyrythmies, games of tessitures and tones sign a definitely modern music which, by its contrasts and its energy, shakes the spectator and takes him in a new world where reigns emotion.
