North End

About three years ago, Marcus, Russ and KB were playing progressive metal throughout the east coast. After both internal conflicts with other band members and limited writing styles, the three of them decided to start their own band. While the new project kept the instrumental, progressive aspect of the last band, it added a more melodic and ambient feel. From there North End was born, recording their first EP at Headgear Studios entitled "In Through The Musical Earth." The album's name derives from the members individual perspectives on creative music. Each track, with their own unique style, melds together to create North End's "musical earth." After this EP was recorded and self-released, Marcus was contacted by an old friend from high school looking to start his own project. Conveniently, North End was in search of a rhythm guitar player and he was a perfect fit. We then began playing shows habitually around the east coast and Midwest. Our most memorable event from our live shows so far would be playing at The Note in West Chester, PA. It's owned by Jackass' own Bam Margera and is also where Marcus and Russ went to college. The venue was sold out bringing in more than 250 people. The energy was through the roof and the crowd’s response was more than anything the band could've hoped for. With this gain in momentum the band is buckling down and working hard to record their first full-length album in November, in hopes that it creates the exposure to get them to the next level.
