Kathryn Musilek and Ryan McPartland were both raised in musical families, picking up their first instruments before kindergarden. Brought up among the cornfields and rolling hills of Iowa, the two first met in college before separately finding their way to Brooklyn, NY. Reconnecting, thanks to the insides of bars in Prospect Heights and Ditmas Park, Musilek and McPartland have merged their talents into a highly collaborative duo, occasionally bringing in guest players and percussionists. While they're at the center of the South Slope, Bar 4 song-writing scene, the band plays regularly around the New York scene.
