N45 released their first self-titled 6 song e.p. March of 2010. Most recently, the band launched an online campaign called "24 For The Fans." This promotion gives N45's fan-base an opportunity to download a free demo song bi-monthly for one whole year! And the best part is, it's free! For more information, please visit

Northern45 began with two Portlanders, an acoustic guitar, and some songs. In the summer of 2001, songwriter Jeff Jansen and drummer Nick Roseta headed south to make their mark on the music scene in Los Angeles. N45’s vision expanded when they enlisted lead guitarist, Geoff Gross in 2005. In fall of 2008, powerhouse vocalist Kevin Bachelder came on board as lead singer. "It was an obvious choice once we all settled in with Kevin. He just has what it takes; a true professional…" [Nick Roseta]

In 2009, bass guitarist and fellow Portlander Tim Archer was hired without an audition to complete N45’s sound. Archer happened to be a music buddy of Kevin’s, but collectively they all knew of Tim’s work. “You don’t audition Tim Archer. He is that good. He’s either in or he’s not…” [Kevin Bachelder]

For most of 2009 and into 2010, N45 spent the better part of their year recording at Eldorado and GSQD studios under the wing of producer Glyn Morgan. Between sessions the band performed live throughout the greater OC/& LA area. Most recently, the band had rocked the house down at the world famous Troubadour, Viper Room and the locally famous Bella Terra Amphitheater in Huntington Beach.

N45 is known to their audience by their unforgettable melodies, hook-laden guitar riffs, Bonham-esque grooves, and a commanding stage show. As a whole, their vision is clear and deliberate. Their art is intact and insightful. The messages are hard hitting, and the sound is classic rock combined with 21st century controlled detonation! This is L.A.’s premier unsigned rock band, Northern45.
