After a chance meeting on the other side of the world by Sharon singer songwriter (originally from London now W.A based), with Jim keyboard player and Dave drummer, North Star was created and now burns bright. Musical influences range far and wide from trip hop to rock, each member bringing different influences and experiences to the Songs Sharon writes. The song collection 'Songs for Urban Living' is a reflective view of the urban landscape of London and the latest collection, 'Songs for Suburban Living' a reflection of everyday life and the colourful characters lurking here in the suburbs of W.A
